Website Agreement
This is the whole deal in plain English. When you check the box and pay at checkout, you're agreeing to it. "You" means your business. "I" means Emerson Neal.
1. Pick a plan
Monthly
$0 down · $149/month
- Your website, designed and built for you
- Hosting and security (the padlock in the browser)
- A quote form that emails you every request the moment it comes in
- Your domain (yourbusiness.com), registered in your name
- Unlimited small changes: just text or email me
- A Google Business Profile tune-up at launch, and I keep it up to date
Billed by card through Stripe, once a month, starting the day you sign up. Month to month. No contract.
Own it outright
$900 one time
- Your website, designed and built for you
- Handed over on a free hosting account in your name
- A Google Business Profile tune-up at launch
- Your domain is yours; it runs about $10 to $20 a year, paid by you
- No monthly fee. Changes after handoff are $50 each, if you want my help
2. What counts as a "small change"
Updating text, prices, hours, phone numbers or photos, swapping a section, or adding a new service. I'll usually get to it within 2 business days. Bigger projects, like an online store, booking system or full redesign, aren't included; I'll quote those separately and you decide.
3. Your Google listing
You add me as a manager on your Google Business Profile. I never ask for your password, and you can remove me any time. I can't control Google's rankings or reviews, but I'll keep your photos, hours, services and website link up to date.
4. Your part
- Give me accurate information about your business, and only photos and logos you have the right to use.
- Look over the site before it goes live and tell me what to fix.
- You're responsible for what your business offers and promises (licenses, prices, warranties).
- Answer the leads the quote form sends you. That part's on you.
5. Who owns what
- Your domain is always yours, on either plan, even if you cancel.
- Your content is always yours: your logo, photos, reviews and business information.
- The website itself (the design and code): on the monthly plan you can use it as long as you're subscribed. It becomes fully yours if you buy it outright, pay to keep it when you cancel, or after 6 monthly payments (see below).
6. Cancelling
Cancel any time, for any reason, with no cancellation fee. Use the cancel page at emerson-neal-web-design.pages.dev/cancel or just email me at etbidnez@gmail.com.
- Billing stops, and your site stays up through the end of the month you already paid for.
- After that you choose: keep the website for a one-time $500 and I hand it over to you, or let it go and I take it offline.
- If you've made 6 or more monthly payments, it's yours free. I hand it over at no charge.
- Either way, your domain stays yours, and I'll help you point it wherever you want.
- No refunds for part of a month.
7. Payments
- Payments are processed by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number.
- If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it and I'll reach out. If it's still unpaid after 14 days, I may pause the site until it's caught up.
- If the monthly price ever changes, I'll email you at least 30 days before, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
8. The leads your site collects
Quote requests from your site go straight to your email. I keep a copy only to make sure they're delivered and for your records. I never sell or share them.
9. The honest fine print
- I'll do good, careful work, but I can't guarantee a certain number of calls, jobs, sales or a Google ranking.
- Hosting companies have rare outages. If your site goes down, I'll get it back up as fast as I can.
- If something goes wrong because of my work, the most I'm responsible for is what you paid me in the 3 months before it happened.
- If I ever update this agreement, I'll email you at least 30 days before. If you don't like the change, you can cancel.
- This agreement is governed by Florida law.
